North Carolina General Assembly returns for 2016 Short Session

The North Carolina General Assembly officially convenes for the start of the 2016 Short Session at 7:00 pm this evening.

At their April meeting, the UNC Board of Governors passed the following slate of System-wide legislative priorities for this session:
